Husqvarna K 770 SmartGuard is a powerful all-round power cutter with features that make it one of the best power cutters on the market. Equipped with SmartGuard, an extended blade guard design which reduces the likelihood of accidents and circumstances when a kickback may occur as it emphasizes correct technique and correct cutting zone. The semi-automatic SmartTension™ system allows for optimal power transmission, minimum wear and maximum belt life. The light weight, outstanding power-to-weight ratio, the reliable start and exceptionally low vibrations mean less strain and maximized productivity. Suitable for road work and easy to cut in a straight or curved track or close to sidewalk when used with KV7 trolley. This dependable cut-off saw works great for a variety of cutting applications such as curbstones and pavers in landscaping, metal/pipes in installation work, concrete in buildings as well as roadwork applications with the trolley accessory. The digital ignition module is updated to provide a powerful spark with optimized timing, enabling easy start ­and efficient combustion.

The new-designed cast magnesium crankcase has a three-bolt joint to attach the cutting head, enabling higher torsional rigidity than the ­previous two-bolt solution. The spring-loaded, semi-automatic SmartTension™ system makes it easy to ensure that the drive belt is always kept in the correct tension. This allows for optimal power transmission as well as minimum wear and maximum life of the belt. The clutch cooling fan lowers the operating temperature inside the belt cover, extending the service life for the transmission components, including the drive belt.
